Eye on the ball: Kerry shows off his soccer skills

Traveling back this week from Secretary Kerry's trip through sub-Saharan Africa, he did just that. Stopping in Sal Island, Cape Verde for fuel on the way from Angola to Washington, nearly everyone in his traveling party stumbled off the plane after the 5.5 hour flight from Luanda to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. Enjoying picture-perfect weather, everyone milled around on the tarmac as crews refueled the plane. Kerry made a call on his cell phone. And then one of his staff members starting kicking around a soccer ball that they travel with, for just this very purpose. Soon, a small group had formed kicking it to each other and the Secretary soon started playing too -- without ever losing his concentration on the phone.
