(9,709 posts)the Sounders really got screwed. First on the penalty call for KC's goal and then later on in the penalty kick phase. Though, truth be told, Seattle still only has itself to blame. I'd get into it more, but I doubt too many people here watched it or were able to see it since it was on Gol TV. I'm all controversied out right now anyway...

(35,773 posts)Your partisanship is far too obvious. Thanks for keeping me in stitches, though.
PS: A lot of people watched the game, and none that I know are in agreement with you, including the Sounders faithful.

"It's difficult when you're playing against a team at home, so the crowd helps them, and then when you're playing against the referee as well, and he makes some absolutely, I thought, ridiculous calls," Schmid said, calling out referee Ricardo Salazar. "It's very tough to win."
I guess your so called "Sounders faithful" think their own coach is full of it. I suspect Timbers Army.
The handball call was bad. 5 yellow cards to KC's 0. And replays showed the Gspurning off his line call was shaky at best. The KC keeper was doing the same thing.
Seattle should have won despite all this, but there's no denying this was a poorly reffed game and it was all one way against the Sounders..
