It doesn't actually say that Trump is the word who became flesh, does it? Whoever designed it can deny that's what it means if it stirs up too much trouble.

Speaking of which, I notice there isn't any clear indication of who, exactly, put up this ad. There is that little symbol on the upper right. It looks like a US flag covering the lower part of the cross. I've seen various combinations of flags and crosses - most of them put the flag behind the cross, or next to it, or under it. I've never seen this particular symbol before.

Meant to cause people to associate Republicans in general, represented by Trump, with Jesus, the Gospel, and Christianity. Am I reaching, do you think?

I really want to know who placed this ad.

This was obviously placed by a group that has no problem mixing politics and religious into a heinous cocktail. Not uncommon at all in present day America. Wish I could say I am surprised, but I am not at all.

Imagine. That person could have taken a vacation in Paris, or fed hundreds of poor children, or paid a credit card bill off. But instead... "I have had a revelation, honey! I have to tell the world that the second coming has come! And it's TRUMP!"

You will notice that it does not say that Trump is the word who became flesh, yet that is clearly the message being sent. This was designed with some skill.
