Great update on Kate...

From the story in my recent newsletter of Kate Silberberg in Western Pa....(a friend wrote this)

Brad and Kate. I haven't updated you because Brad wanted to write to all of you. However, time is very precious right now and all of it is being used to place Kate where her healing already exists. I will remind you that about two months ago Kate was told by her doctor here in Pittsburgh that the 5FU chemo-therapy had had no success in reducing her Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and tumors. There were little options left, according to the doctor. Well Divine Guidance provided a very successful option. Brad and Kate went to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa Oklahoma. I must tell you that they love this treatment center and its staff and doctors. The first visit was for about 11 days. During those days Kate had exhaustive diagnostic tests. The initial tests showed no remaining cancer. Amazing! But leaving no stone unturned a four test even more accurate that the PET scan and CAT scans did reveal that there were cysts or growths remaining on each of Kate's ovaries. The tumor on the pancreas was gone. Kate and Brad came home for two weeks. Kate felt wonderful. All of her body systems were working normally and she even had energy to teach some at the Mesa. Something truly amazing had happened. Last Sunday they returned to CTC in Tulsa. On Wednesday Kate had both ovaries removed. Her surgeon also removed a few pea sized tumors on the wall of her abdomen. The final determination of the lab results won't be in until next week.

Kate is doing very well. She and Brad are having fun in Tulsa while she recovers from her surgery. I have skype now and so I can attest to the fact that she looks really good and is so grateful that she finds herself, today, in an amazing healed space compared to where she was two months ago. Rather that being told there is no hope, one of her doctors told her recently to renew any magazine subscriptions that might be due. She is going to be here, I think, for a very long time. Brad is doing very well, too. He continues to do alternative healing at the Center on Kate and has done some with others there, as well.
Please keep both of them in your prayers. Those prayers and everything else sure are working miracles.
Brad will, at some time in the future, catch you all up on the details.

we are MEANT to follow this story:

Hello dear friends, Some in reading my message line may think that I have gone over the brink in my new cosmic address. But as you will see, laughing when sh*t happens is the story I want to share today. It is a metaphor for how to live in these difficult times.

Since July when Kate learned she had stage 4 pancreatic cancer, we have spent many times together laughing in spite of that. Of course there were days when humor was hard to find---but not that many.
Brad and Kate are very funny people--I love Brad's dry sense of humor and I adore Kate's quirkiness. They mean it when they say they are having fun at CTC.

Today was day with more laughter than usual in my phone call to Kate. I called right before lunch to find she had been moved to a regular hospital room---intensive care and intermediate care was no longer needed. This is ,in part, because for Kate sh*t happened today and so did farting. (Remember she had a foot of her bowel removed and re sectioned only five days ago.)

We laughed with joy that simple, often taken for granted, bodily functions were returning. We shared joy also that Kate had mushroom soup and pudding for lunch with her calm tea. No more IV feeding or clear liquids for her----real food. Maybe tomorrow mashed potatoes with gravy might appear. We laughed about these things and other things. Then Kate said this, which is today's contemplation:

In these very dark times with so much suffering, we must shine our light. Kate Silberberg

Kate is correct, I think. In my experience, the spell of suffering is broken when I experience joy and gratitude. An instant change in cosmic address occurs. From this vantage point and experience, it is easy to access the healing where it already exists.

I want to thank Brad and Kate for sharing their journey with me and for allowing me to share some of it with you. Kate is my sweet pea. Which reminds me, the catheter is gone, too. Yippee!

So dear friends, it is my wish that you find joy today. It is my wish that you smile and shine your light to illuminate the healing where it already exists despite what may be occurring around you.

Love and blessings, Nance

Sometimes it's hard to grasp the "how to" but your friends show us how it's in our mundane actions--feeling joy as it comes....

Thank you for sharing an inspiring story, Ric

I tried to find out my birth time....even got advice here on ASAH
about asking specifically for the long form birth certificate. Turns out the time wasn't recorded.

Sounds like she changed some karma. Interesting....wonder what she did to let go of old crap?

www.mesacreativearts.com you'll see that she and Brad have working and inventing techniques for years now
to examine deeply what their 'beliefs' are. The release by reprogramming themselves and muscle testing
they are heavily into this; this is why I shared the story in the first place. They have come up with revolutionary
techniques, especially Brad

Your birth time may be accessible by calling your birth state's dept of vital records.
They are very good in PA

good luck
