? - 12/25/12 RIP little Polly
I scritched her ears and warmed her under my hands for the last time this morning. She lifted her head and pushed it into the ear scritches. She crossed the bridge while I was at work. She now is curled up next to Algiers.
Thank you all for your warmth and love and light. I know it helped ease her passing, and is helping me to cry right now.

(14,095 posts)I swear, so many furbabies seem to be crossing over right now...hopefully they have a purpose, maybe to ease the journey for others...
I know it doesn't make it easier, but I am still sending love and hugs to you (and her as well as she journeys home)

(20,219 posts)There's a book called "Why We Love Them So"
I know we do...maybe because they are pure love; they depend on us and we are given the opportunity to love back from the depths of our heart and in our actions. Maybe that's why.
I don't know.....but we do love them so, don't we?
