The great vibes and goodwill from this place
are remarkably noticeable.
Consider, the clenched jaw, the tight shoulders, and other stressed out body parts and sorrows, and confounding bugs from the over-active brain!
Enter the wonderful usual suspects of ASAH!
And Voila!
Helping Hands, genius advice, quantum hugs,
Smiles return , a softness around the edges soothes.
We all do a little typing jig and soothe and comfort and SNORT!
It's magic!
You guys are much appreciated!
Drinks all around!
Howler is serving! I saw her polishing the glasses!

Our tequila tasting features a selection from our large stock of 86 tequilas. We review and pair what is being tasted and explain the differences between them.

Oh, you will definitely need a good blender. I've found my VitaMix is great for mixed drinks, especially when you want the ice pulverized

(4,225 posts)We are not building an actual bar. We do not have the space for one.
I have a cart with two bar chairs and bar towels hanging off the sides to sit at. LOL! But I am building a fully stocked bar of spirits to be able to make any and all drinks you can get at a night club.I have all the glass wear! (well except for the rock glasses) The dollar store is a very wonderous place!!!!
I also have four neon lights in my kitchen along with other party lighting. One is a Pizza sign,A ice cream sunday,A steaming cup of hot coffee, and a neon Martini glass. The clock is fabulous but I don't have any place to put it up......But if I did, Oh YEAH!!!!!
But If your still interested I will take pictures of everything!!!! I am very excited about this project because it gives me one more way to spoil my family and friends absolutely ROTTEN!!!!!! My favorite thing to do in life!!!!
BTW!!! If anyone here is passing through Dayton Ohio You have a place to stop by or stay with all the trappings!!!! HOWLERVILLE!!!!! You all Have an extended and perminate invitation
kentauros
(29,414 posts)I also mean "building up" your stock
And, seeing as how you love bright and/or contrasting colors, I wouldn't expect that cart to remain in whatever color it is currently!
If only Dayton was nearby to Houston (as within a 500 mile radius; that's "nearby" to us ) I will be making one of my Flourless Chocolate Cakes soon for "local" friends, and y'all will just have to deal with getting photos
I'll probably post to the C&B forum, if I can manage to do a step-by-step photo-series
Howler
(4,225 posts)You could find your way out here on business or play some day!!!

(29,414 posts)Church of the SubGenius' book "High Weirdness by Mail"
So, I got on their mailing list for catalogues, and one year I gave my sister a "food assortment" of bubblegum-shaped "foods" I wish they still offered that one.
I'm on their email-list now. Did you see their latest? "Instant Underpants"!
These underpants are conveniently compressed into a compact pellet. Just soak them with water momentarily and theyll loosen up so that you can pull them apart! And remember, it's better to have damp underpants than no underpants at all! Each 2-1/2" round tin contains one pellet of disposable unisex underpants. Fits most children and small adults.
Why do I think of MFM when I see that item...?

I have never had Hot Buttered Rum But They look really tastee! I am going to have to remedy that!!!
OneGrassRoot
(23,424 posts)Since then, especially since no one (even in an Irish bar in NYC!) seemed to know what hot buttered rum really is, they've literally melted butter in rum.
All I know is, that ain't it. lol
But WOW about the versions with ice cream! I kinda think less is probably more...if one enjoys the taste of rum, that is; thus the second one looks best to me.

(29,414 posts)We do have unions, of course, but to many DU-ers, when you say it's a "right to work state" they seem to think that means "NO unions"
I can remember working construction in the early 80s during the summer and working with the electricians. One of them was complaining that because the unions had control of the wages set for our contract (Brown & Root, long before they became KBR) that he was making 20-cents an hour less than if they didn't set such things. I had no real idea what he was talking about and didn't care as I was making a decent wage as an electrician's helper. When you're 19 years old and making $2000 per month for a summer position forty years ago, that's a damn fine wage to me!
I prefer a speak easy!!!!
