He has taken a bad turn again. The doctor has him on a stronger antibiotic, but I feel like he's missing something. My son had a bad pneumonia 4 years ago and it didn't hang on like this.

I looked at some of the hits for pneumonia, and saw some of the simple vitamin and mineral supplements for immune boosts and support. You can search on other terms as you see fit. If he's only on antibiotics, I don't think there would be any contraindications involved from supplements. But, I'm also not a medical professional, either.

Has he had his Vitamin D level tested? Vit D is so essential to lung health that the lungs have special Vitamin D receptors and studies have shown that Vit D defiency is often seen in pneumonia cases. The deficiency is extremely common regardless of how much time is spent in the sun. I have always commuted by bike so I have always had a lot of sun exposure so I was shocked several years ago when I found out I was low in Vitamin D.

I really feel the healing energy has helped. I am hoping he has turned a corner. I'll let you know tonight if he has continued to have a good day. After a terrible fever last night, he slept through the night without waking up with a coughing fit for the first time in 12 nights. He had a little cough this morning, but he ate a small breakfast and is now happily playing video games.

Thanks so much again. I really do believe there is power in our concentrated energy and I am so blessed to be part of this community.

26. I lit a candle for him yesterday

and am sending today for health and vitality. When he is finished with his course of antibiotics it would be helpful to give him acidophilus (in yogurt or supplements) to restore the healthful bacterial in the gut. (especially if he has diarrhea because of antibiotics)
