One of the greatest men I've ever known is dying. He is 92.

Please send him love and energy for a quick passage. His daughter is a Reiki practitioner and he is open to it.

He is in excruciating pain from an aneurysm of the aortic artery in his abdomen. There is nothing they can do except wait for it to burst and him to bleed out.

He was captured at the Battle of the Bulge and held as a pow for five months. He is one of the kindest, sweetest people I have ever known.

I will be back later, have to sit the 2yo grandson.

I wish he had been my father.

Thank you for helping to ease his passage.

I can hardly stand it knowing he is suffering so much. His youngest daughter, my dear friend, and I, are going to see him Thursday. I truly hope his pain ends before then, it's why I asked for help in ASHA; is that horrible to say?

Thanks sweetie!

Still in much pain, but is dealing pretty well with it. Now I learn it could be weeks or even months for it to burst, going to visit more while I still can.

He crossed over in 2004.

Maybe they knew each other. He told stories about families giving them sheets to cover themselves with so they could hide in the snow and not be seen.

Sending energy for your friend, his family and you.

8. Ed is one of the few POW survivors left from WWII. Imagine the world history these men have seen!

I think Ed is one of the most grateful people, maybe more so due to his war experiences. Your uncle must have had some frightening tales to tell, I'm cold now just hearing about the sheets. Ed rarely mentions it, unless a soldier asks! lol

Thanks Kooka!

take pain meds. He is so frail, but still hanging on. He's tired, I wish him only peaceful passage in his sleep. I don't know what else to pray for him. I don't want to interfere, just ease pain and give comfort.

Thanks for being here!

Hey, while I have you here, where is the donation page for Wishadoo? I looked high and low, nada! Is the security issue resolved now? Hope not too stressed!

He must be so tired, but what a well-lived life!!!

You're very kind to ask about Wishadoo. Actually, everything was fine; I took it offline as soon as I got a whiff of the nastiness going on elsewhere with hackers -- -- and used the downtime to ensure all security-related measures were as up to date as possible, upgrade the server and have the developer do a few others things, planting a few more seeds.

There's a "support" button in the right-hand sidebar, but here's the direct link to the page.

Thinking of you and your friends during this time.

He knew before the anuerysm showed up. I've been making sure he knows how much he has meant in my life.

Good to hear you jumped soon enough! Nasty hackers!

Sending a pm.

please do call on his spirit guides to help him with whatever is needed at this time.

Although his body may be ready, his spirit may need something - ask him if he is ready and let him know that you are all ready with love - just don't keep saying it every five minutes, you will know.

Sending you all a great big hug.
