Palm crosses and willow branches are distributed on our Palm Sunday. The Slavic people had no palms in their regions so they used symbolic willow branches.

Eastern Orthodoxy calculates its Pascha/Easter by another method than the Western dating. Two key factors are: after Passover AND after the first full moon of the Equinox. There can be some additional factors.
