(82,333 posts)A prayer for both of you. And for me.
The righteous cry out, the Lord hears
and he rescues them from all their afflictions.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted,
saves those whose spirit is crushed.
PSALM 34:18-20
LOVING GOD, YOU ARE ALWAYS NEAR TO US, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE WEAK, SUFFERING AND VULNERABLE.
Reach out to those who experience mental sorrow. Lift their burdens, calm their anxiety, and quiet their fears. Surround them with your healing presence that they may know that they are not alone. AMEN.

(10,558 posts)Try thanking your husband for what patience he may have with you. I do not know your circumstances but in my case, all the males from my family, (3 brothers and a father) have/had mental issues. We are all bi-polar with one brother also diagnosed full blown schizophrenic. I take the schizophrenic brother out-n-about on Mondays, we have a favorite restaurant. My brother tells anyone he bumps into...well lets just call them 'interesting tales'. I thank the restaurant owners for their patience when I am out of his earshot. I've found that this has a positive affect on the owners, they have been very accommodating-even often helpful, something I appreciate immensely.
I don't know if this helps but I'll post it just in case. I wish you-n-yours all the best. Sorry that DU is sucking for you, there are a ton of good folks here.
