Jehovah's Witnesses finally refute evolution!!! (Well, they tried.)

http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2016/04/17/jehovahs-witnesses-release-video-arguing-that-evolution-is-a-myth/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook

“Can anyone say that some computer programs appeared simply by chance? In contrast, evolutionists would like us to believe that DNA was formed by evolution. To illustrate, say you take some letter blocks, pour them on to the table, and the Encyclopaedia Britannica is formed. There is an even smaller probability that DNA originated by evolution.”

[Says Lloyd Evans:] … natural selection is far from a random process. When successive generations of an organism are shaped by their surroundings, and an environment selects which attributes are best suited to reproduction and survival, what we have is cause and effect. Evolution is a guided process, even if natural forces rather than a supreme celestial supervisor are doing the guiding.

--------

Maybe nobody has explained evolution to them properly?

Here's how I would do it:

Imagine, you have a huge bag full of dice. The dice are loaded. Some have a preference to land on 1, some have a preference for 2 andsoforth.
Let's say, the numbers symbolize a positive trait of organisms, like their strength, their toughness or the number of offspring they can reproduce. Let's go with the number of offspring in the first comparison.

Step 1: Now you roll the dice. You get random results everywhere.
Step 2: Reproduce each dice according to its value.
Step 3: But the number of dice that fit on the table is limited. Dice that fall off the table do not get put back on the table.

Repeat for many dice-generations.

What is the result?
Over time, dice that are loaded towards high numbers will become a larger and larger fraction of the dice-population.

And now we switch the advantageous conditions. Suddenly, dice with low numbers produce more offspring. The number of offspring is now 7-D6.

Step 1: Roll the dice. You get random results everywhere.
Step 2: Reproduce each dice according to the new condition.
Step 3: The number of dice that fit on the table is limited. Dice that fall off the table do not get put back on the table.

What is the result?
All of a sudden, dice that are loaded towards low numbers grow larger and larger in population.

Dice falling off the table, that is natural selection.
Dice with advantageous traits becoming more and more numerous, that is evolution.
