Fall Weather Forecast 2022: Not Quite Sweater Weather!

Our focus may be on winter at the moment, but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves; we have to get through fall first! Autumn officially begins with the autumnal equinox on September 22. What sort of weather should we expect this season? Here’s our long-range forecast for fall.

2022 Fall Weather Forecast
Autumn temperatures in the United States will be warmer than normal across much of the country, except for cooler than normal over northern New England, the Southeast, and the Pacific Northwest.

Autumn rainfall will be above normal over the Northeast and mid-Atlantic states, across the Deep South, from the Lower Lakes through the Upper Midwest and Heartland, and across the Pacific Northwest and southern California; it will be near or below normal elsewhere.>>>

Not flooding-type rain, just the kind that makes everything grow like crazy. I don't like hot and humid weather, so I had a great summer!
