Just bought In the Buddha's Words:An Anthology of Discourses form the Pali Canon by

Bhikkhu Bodhi. I'm so excited. I have tried reading Pali Canon text before but I was always lost. I am hoping this book will help organize it in a way that I can navigate it better.

Bhikkhu Bodhi's new translations of the Pali canon are really good. I have all four volumes as well as the introductory compilation called "In the Buddha's Words".

Bhikkhu Bodhi's translations are indeed exceptional. I also own the set and refer to them often.

I am in the process of teaching myself Pali. Having original texts and his translations are a wonderful combination.
