At the end of last week, Hillary Clintons popular vote lead over president-elect Donald Trump had reached 2.5 million. Today, that number has reached 2,620,649. Clinton has 48.2 percent of the vote and Donald Trump has 46.2 percent. One of those numbers continues to go up while the other continues to go down. I cannot tell you that a recount will change who will be inaugurated on January 20, 2017 but I can tell you thisDonald Trump will be a historically unpopular electoral college winner. ..... ...
Make that "Donald Trump will be the historically most unpopular electoral college choice."
Comments include a claim 300,000 votes left to report in CA. Tomorrow is the CA reporting deadline for counties, so expect a big jump.
Clintons margin is about to surpass all the Trump votes in 12 states combined.
Clinton Dec. 5 margin = 2,645,046
12 state Trump votes = 2,651,861
In 12 states and DC combined, Trump has 2,664,584 votes.
Tomorrow Clinton could easily surpass 2,750,000 votes.
Time to update this graph after the CA reporting deadline tomorrow. Add NH.

(4,090 posts)their voter id laws and other voter suppression tactics. It allows them to leverage their minority support to control our national politics. They are lawless and sociopathic. This country will not be functional until the Democrats address these election stealing practices. They should have been doing it starting in 2000 when bushes brother Jeb stole FL from Al Gore and the Supreme Court awarded the office to bush. I fear that if tRump actually gets into office, he is going to make the bush reign of error look like the good old days.

(13,566 posts)Republicans don't give one flying fuck if Trump didn't win the popular vote. They'll push through as much bullshit as they can, and if democrats ever get back into power, we'll have to spend the next 10-20 years trying to unfuck the planet.
