Barack Obama, Donald Trump Forge an Unlikely Rapport

http://www.wsj.com/articles/barack-obama-donald-trump-forge-an-unlikely-rapport-1481326593
They had never met, and they had had only harsh words toward each other during the campaign. But President Barack Obama and his successor, Donald Trump, are discussing policy and politics with more frequency than many anticipated after this past year’s bitterly fought election....

That's all i have, as i don't subscribe, but I feel that this is positive. Open minds for awhile, thanks to the very fine character of our President in wanting to offer advice. I hope that the rapport continues.

Despite everything, being on good terms with a president is probably irresistible for Trump.

Obama is an engaging, aware, and very personable guy who gives you the dual impressions that your views are important to him, and that his are important to you. He is knowledgeable on any number of subjects and can hold coherent conversations about any number of issues, switching back and forth about any of them on a dime. He is a major intellect that has the rare gift of impressing without bashing you over the head with his superior knowledge and intelligence. In short, he impresses, and engages simultaneously. I'm not at all surprised Trump felt he was honored to have such a great mind take the time to mentor him for the task confronting him. I think deep down, he has finally grasped the enormity of the task confronting him, and realizes that he has already met the one person with the best advice on how to tackle it, and that person is his immediate predecessor (anyone notice how much time Trump has spent with W or Cheney?).
