Related: About this forumRussian Hacking - Not Republican v. Democrat, but Traitor versus Patriot
Democrats alone do not bear responsibility to address foreign influence in the U.S. election. Republicans should not get a free pass. Indeed, Republicans should get the most pressure, because Russian influence elected their nominee to the Presidency.
Likewise, all Americans should be concerned that a hostile foreign nation has hacked not only the DNC, but the computers of Republicans, and perhaps even more nefarious, nothing has been leaked, which raises the prospect of potential blackmail.
We may very well have a compromised President and it is not only Democrats who will suffer. Internationally, you have a U.S. President who will look the other way as Russia annexes the Ukraine and supports genocide in Syria. Domestically, Trump is likely to oppose any efforts to improve voter access or oversight, since it would be seen as tainting his narrow victory, which opens the door to future foreign manipulation.
So, this should not just be a he-said, she-said false equlivalency story where the teams line-up on their respective sides. If you are defending and covering-up Russia's actions, then you are a traitor.
