More evidence of pending tyranny: Robert Reich sounds the alarm on Trumps private security force
The Politico article quotes security experts such as former Secret Service Agent Jonathan Wackrow, who says that Trump is playing with fire by using both the Secret Service and his own security detail.
[It] increases the Services liability, it creates greater confusion and it creates greater risk, he said of Trumps continued use of a private firm.
In the conclusion of his post, Reich calls upon Congress to make it illegal for a president to have a private security force accountable to no one but himself.

Some say it was his security force who accidentally shot him in the encounter with Dr. Weiss* which whether true or not suggests a reason why a private security force is a bad idea.

Also, Who will pay for this private security?

(985 posts)The US citizens are paying for this private security force, who abuse protesters, but it is not accountable to the US people. Also, they've signed non-disclosure agreements, like anyone who does business with Trump, so they can't talk about any unethical/illegal things that they are told to do.
