Woman finds success as male model

ELLIOTT Sailors was a blond bombshell with the prestigious Ford modeling agency and had curves that graced Bacardi billboards around the world.

But when jobs dried up in an industry that considers 25 middle-aged, Sailors, 31, chopped off her blonde locks and reinvented herself - as a male model.

...

Sailors dresses like a man on most days because it's easier than wearing makeup or heels.

And she says no one opens the door for her anymore:

"When I'm in an elevator, I notice that they let all of the girls go first - like, the real girls."

he has long blonde hair and has been used in many, many ads in traditional female poses. I doubt he's been featured in the US, as many 'many men' would get very pissed (and confused) to find they'd been looking at a guy as they played with themselves. Then again, maybe not.

Andrej Pejic is who I assume you are referring to. He is probably the most well known. He has had some interesting commentary about how guys around New York react to him.

i haven't tried this, and i'm not sure i'd want to, but i bet a lot could be learned from just trying out what other gender(s) experience on a dialy basis.
