I would like to put something in GD about...

this group being created. I don't think many people know it's here, I'd like to get the word out. I checked with the hosts already, they said it was ok.

I would like to include some of/all of the mission statement. Thoughts on anything else I should include/how much of the mission statement?

This is a room where people share stuff that hurts and that we want people to feel safe and we want to be a part of the healing process.

The reason I bring up the smaller groups, is because threads tend not to get lost. I have good standing in a few groups (amazing, I know), but I am willing to let others know about this group.

ETA: I also think it might help if we put LadyHawk's mission statement (and an introduction) in a thread of it's own, and asked a few friends to "game" the system by giving it 10 recommendations, which will immediate place it on the "Latest and Greatest" page. We could also add it to our signature lines with a direct link to the group.
