This might be old news, I don't know, but I'm posting it anyway.

The difference between arkansas medical marijuana program and Louisiana,s is like night and day. The last purchase I made in Arkansas cost me $96, and a short 3-hour round trip. Tons more variety, and in store shopping. Just as a comparison I did the math on my local Louisiana dispensary where the same amount of a lesser quality would have cost me $238. The Doctor who approved my card for Louisiana was the person who turned me on to this program. It is well worth the drive and the cost for me. Arkansas has a medical marijuana program. Louisiana has a highway robbery program.

Other states in the country may have an agreement like this. You can check your state to see if it's available.

1. it was my understanding most that states respect each other's cards.

the dispensaries in chi are still mostly getting $300/oz. in mich, it's closer to $200, sometimes even $100. both states are full legal, no card needed. but you do have to drive through a bit of indiana.
all the street weed i come across these days is from mich.

5. i think the med only is the same.

my son had a card in colo, and went to a med only state and it was honored. dont remember which state, tho. he looked into it and said that was the norm.

.... I live in wash state where pots been legal for over 10 years. I also have a medical card just so I can grow more and get a 15% discount at the store. But its sad stories like this make me so thankful that I can just walk to the corner pot store and get a 3$ J anytime I need it.

4. The 3-hour trip..

... help make the most of a bad situation. Actually, one reason I get such a good deal at Superfarm in Texarkana is the 22% permanent discount I receive for being a veteran. Also, compared to Louisiana, the variety and quality is substantial.
Although Arkansas is my home state where I was born, and wish that was where I lived now, I do find it rather ironic that in this respect, they are setting a progressive example for Louisiana. Never thought I'd say that. 🥴
