I use edibles because I have asthma, smoking it would kill me! Any Red State people that love the high?

(24,023 posts)Here in town, a while back, somebody got inside one of those big light up traffic signs that tells you about a detour or route change and they changed the message to Smoke Weed Everyday. THEN, they padlocked the door so the road construction folks couldnt get in very quickly. It was like that for hours. So funny.

(3,115 posts)I don't want to smoke it either because I'm an ex-cig smoker and the idea is disgusting. But edibles are fantastic. I'm in Texas, so I can't get them legally (ahem), but when I go back to L.A., I always indulge. And my enlightened niece gave me a batch of special brownies for Christmas.

(14,719 posts)Im not recommending you or anyone with asthma start smoking pot, but there is credible evidence that it might be useful and a potential alternative to inhalers and the complications they have. Google it, you might be surprised.
This is another case where the prohibitionists have blocked research into the potential medical uses of marijuana.

(123,134 posts)It made me groggy the next day and did not help me sleep. I took a low dose but don't want to try it again. Legal here in canada. I was so disappointed because the few times I tried marijuana as a young person, it put me right to sleep.

Made me sad that they're so uninformed. 😣
