CBD Oil: Please learn from my mistake

For over a year, and at an estimated cost of around $2,000 (actually, I'm afraid it was probably more), I took CBD oil offered by a nutritional supplements company I really trust, even though I couldn't tell if it did anything. Why?

1. The reviewers on their website said it was great CBD oil, the best. Some reviewers would say things like, "I've tried dozens of CBD oils and this is the very best I've ever had."
2. Trust in the company, which has a history of high quality products in other areas.
3. My dog seemed to get something out of it.
4. Irrational thinking: "Well, maybe it's doing something and I just don't know it." "Maybe I don't have cannabinoid receptors, but it might be helping to prevent cancer or improve my cognition, or maybe I actually am sleeping better and don't realize it," or "maybe I'd be feeling much worse if I weren't taking it."

I finally stopped ordering it, except for some tincture for my dog (he really does seem to like it, and responds quickly).

Two weeks ago, I heard an ad for a CBD seller on Progressive radio and on a whim made an impulse purchase of some capsules from this other vendor. I was thinking, There has to be something to this CBD oil, so many people talk about it. Did I get screwed?

This new product is better. There's no doubt that it has a calming effect. It seems to improve my mood. You can absolutely feel it doing something. It also tastes completely different than the product I had been using, which had a flavor like clove oil with orange added.

So if you are hoping that CBD oil works for you, and been trying it out with unimpressive results, try several different brands. And my suggestion is not to take it if you don't think it's doing anything. It was an expensive and fairly stupid mistake on my part.

Definitely a difference most dispensaries have CBD products too, aways my first choice

Not advertising a product but I found a great CBD infused honey. Colorado Hemp Honey. A teaspoon in a cup 🥤of herbal tea. I'm sleeping much better .

With the first company I tried both the capsules and the tincture.

With this second company, I've only tried the capsules so far, but I chewed them one night to see what the oil tasted like, to see if it was anything like what I had been using. The oil in the new capsules was strikingly different from the oil from the first company; it was less thick and tasted kind of grassy (no pun intended); it tasted more like something grown from the ground, unlike the oil in the first capsules I tried which was viscous (kind of like Vitamin E in its liquid form) and had so much added flavoring (clove and orange).

I use for pain. Muscle pain especially.

I use a roll on product that has THC also tho it comes in CBD only form too. A friend uses the CBD only and says pain relief is same.

You roll this stuff on and 10 min later there is marked relief! You can PM me if you want brand info. I get mine locally at dispensary so IDK if it’s available to order online but they do have a website.

Without individual feedback cbd seems too much uncertainty for the $risk. Thankful!

..of cbd sitting around my house. I dont think it works at all. Ive got it for my dog as well and I do think my old dog lived at least 6 weeks longer as I was giving it to him 3xday. I have also tried all the cbd salve and I have to say i DID find relief with that! So save your $$ on the oil..buy the cream and buy the dog cbd. Maybe I just dont have the receptors for the oil.

12. Pain relief with CBD is real

I'm a married "young" senior here in Illinois.
I am currently finishing a Holistic Integrated Healthcare accreditation
leading into further course work for Ayurvedic and Herbal Medicine studies.
My wife and I have a small home based CBD biz as well. No $$$$ being made
yet but, this keeps us good and busy.
I'm also being taught the ins and outs of Medical Cannabis Agriculture by
a nephew who has been a head grower for years, first in Washington State
and currently Illinois.

Number one advise Mike 03 is to research then sample different products.
Once we found pain cream and full spectrum oil that simply
worked we stopped shopping.
The cream is unbelievably effective. There are now 7 or 8 family members
using the cream.
The Full Spectrum Oil did not seem to help me much at first using a 500mg strength.
After about 6 weeks I started to really notice the difference. Now you couldn't make me
miss a daily dose.
I can help you with straight forward facts if there are any questions.

14. Taking CBD tincture has worked wonders in helping to stop my anxiety/panic attack issues

The difference it's made in my life is significant.

I use full spectrum, high potency CBD tincture every morning. At night I take a relaxation capsule that contains CBD, Ashwagandha, L-Tryptophane and Chamomile extracts and can finally sleep for more than a few hours. I've been able to cut way back on having to rely Indica gummies to help me me relax enough to doze off and sleep longer since starting with the capsules.

I'm so thankful I found a really good company. They have great outreach and assistance programs, are very responsive, and produce a very high quality product.
