As an Army-brat (retired), I feel a great deal of empathy for Mrs. Robinson.

Me was I would lose benefits my husband paid for if I ever remarried. NO ONE EVER MENTIONS THAT. I had no idea until I was a widow.

I am still fighting for his benefits and it’s been over 5 years. Just hired a law firm to represent us.
