I absolutely agree we need him back. The railroading of him did great damage to our country. Thanks for posting... NNadir Oct 19 #4

A couple of years ago I was able to see him in person when his National Tour Tour came to my area (Albany, NY) and he was terrific! He spoke for over two hours to a sold out crowd using only a microphone, a stool and three glasses of water. He talked a little about SNL, but mostly about his time in the Senate, did impressions (McConnell), told jokes (Ted Cruz) and said that when his Committee was waiting, Dianne Feinstein would ask him to tell a joke and not everybody "got it." He also did one of his freehand sketches of the States while he was talking and offered to sign it and donate it to a local Democratic charity. He got a standing ovation at the end and there were calls for him to run again. We sure could use him now...

If you ever get the chance to see him in person, I highly recommend it. And I agree that it was a senseless tragedy that he was forced to step down from the Senate. It was obvious that he really enjoyed it - and he was so good at it! And we sure could use his talent in the Senate today...
