You gotta hand it to Trump..he has managed to surround himself with men at least as despicable as he is this time around.
Pence was awful, but he was also not as noticeably repellent as Vance is. He faded into the background.
That is another point versus 2016/2020. Trump has found a veep who is a net drag as opposed to a bible banger with no personality whose main job was deferring to him.
Walz by contrast is genuinely very likeable.
