That being said, if he had ran against Trump in 2016 and won, he would be finishing his second term right now, with his sanity intact, and we would all have solar panels on our roofs and be driving cheap electric cars.

That said, I believe Kamala is exactly what our nation needs right here and right now. She is the just right person at the precise time we need her.

We must make sure she wins, and we must as citizens, resolve to support all efforts to ensure our next generations have a fighting chance at a planet worth surviving on.

The situation in Gaza can get worse; things can always get worse.

I'm hoping President Harris will find a way to stop the most lethal weapons systems and condition "less lethal" weapon systems on Israel moving strongly in the right direction.

would be for T to be placed in the oval office. He'd given the go-ahead to drop a nuke if it thought it'd curry favor with Bibi and Putin. I really don't know who's farther up Putin's butt... trump or bibi. But neither one of them are going to be happy until they start the third world war. grrrr

The Hamas attack on Israel was completely unacceptable, immoral, brutal and a clear act of terrorism. Hamas is responsible and must be brought to justice for it.

But, the war in Gaza, which has pulled Palestinians in and caused massive death, destruction and suffering, has gone too far. It must be stopped, a cease fire put in place, peace negotiated and the hostages returned, whatever that takes.

Jill Stein does not have the ability, the power, the position or the will to do anything about it. Not. One. Thing. A vote for her does absolutely nothing to bring about a cease fire and provide humanitarian aid to Gaza. She's a Putin puppet, and that's about all.

Trump being elected would mean the end of Gaza, and of the Palestinian West Bank as well. He'd let Netanyahu turn them into refugees and push them out into the Arab world, or murder them.

Harris offers the best chance of achieving the goals Arab Americans want to see in Gaza.

Believe that trump will do anything other than give netenyahu the green light to completely clear gaza(and likely west bank soon after) of Palestinians via whatever means he chooses?

Hes definitely not going to stop selling israel weapons.

Timing, his policy positions, and ideology just never jived with where we were at as a country at any one time. I will always think he'd have been a good president, and the poor and middle class would have been so much better off than we are today. Heck, the middle class might actually still exist! I hope he continues on for years, just as smart and as ornery as he's always been!

and a Bernie presidency would have been amazing.

Teddy Roosevelt required Republican olligarchs givinghim the vice presidency to get him out of the NY governorship. They counted on McKinley staying alive. This is how truly transformative people come to power.

That miracle didn't happen for Bernie, but it's happening for Kamala. In other circumstances the DNC would have quashed such a progressive ticket. They won't go against a Black woman or a VP, or our last chance to have a winning candidate. If there had been a real race who knows who would have prevailed.

Bernie unlike most politicians cares more about the result than his own career or power. What makes him happy is progress, and people getting what they need. This is why we love him. This is what keeps him going, older than Trump or Biden but still as cogent as ever.

to get dictators to help his election. If the Logan Act had any clout he'd be guilty on Ukraine/Putin and Israel/Netanyahu, and perhaps China and beyond.

We thought Reagan was the teflon president. We hadn't met Trump. Foreign powers are big in this election. When we wonder why brilliant Kamala and demented Trump are neck and neck, look to Russia, Saudi Arabia, and other dictators sending us their misifnormation. And Elon with Twitter.

if truth prevails we win. If love prevails, we win.

he had squeezed in a mention about Trump's plan to become a dictator on day one, aided by Project 2025, and enhanced by SCOTUS's presidential immunity ruling. Our democracy would be replaced by an autocracy. And no matter how toxic that autocracy's policies towards the Palestinians and Gaza become, we wouldn't be able to do anything about it because we would completely lose our right to dissent and protest (enforced by the U.S. military) and elections (controlled by Republicans) would be fixed so that our votes will no longer matter.

This is why he was picking up some otherwise Trump vote in 2016 and poilling better than Hillary against him.

I'm sure Bernie shares your points but that is for another speech. He is keeping the focus on Arabic communities who are threatening to vote Trump or sit this one out over Biden's Gaza policy. He can't address everything that matters here. This is primarily about Michigan. We need to win Michigan.

Not that he would compromise the truth, he is just staying focussed.
