I apologize that there are so few "official" videos available, this practice by HBO appears to have started several weeks ago. If any are uploaded in the meantime, I'll definitely add them. But I wanted to share what's available before the "bootleg" videos are gone.
Post-Election Google Searches
Google searches for "Did Biden drop out" surged on Election Day and they've only gotten more absurd since then.
New Rule: Tough Love Dems
It's time for Democrats to stop screaming at people to get with the program, and instead make a program worth getting with.
Overtime: Dr. Casey Means, Chris Cuomo, Mary Katharine Ham
Bill and his guests continue their conversation after the show.
Here's a "bootleg" version of the show which includes the entire interview with Dr. Casey Means, co-founder of Levels metabolic health company and co-author of the #1 New York Times bestselling book Good Energy: The Surprising Connection Between Metabolism and Limitless Health; entire panel discussion with Chris Cuomo, award-winning broadcast journalist and host of the podcasts CUOMO and The Chris Cuomo Project; and Mary Katharine Ham, Fox News contributor and host of the podcast Getting Hammered; Bill's "Funny Bit"; and the opening part of New Rules. It won't last long, as usual:

(222,205 posts)The season is usually over by now, but it went longer because of the election. And it looked like a good guest lineup for the Finale, but I'll have to watch it again to catch all the names.

(3,943 posts)...there seems to be a confusion between seriously & intelligently discussing topics like the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic, medicine, and health and making comedic statements, which while funny and clever, misinform their audiences. All three of these comedians have significant audiences and platforms, so one would hope that on serious issues they would not be so careless.
What follows is a published review of Maher's guest from tonight's episode, and she seems as bad a source for a reasonable discussion of health in the USA as the above comedians seem to be for a reasonable discussion of the origins of Covid-19:
In Washington, wellness influencers and contrarians are auditioning to institutionalize pseudoscience in Trumps White House.
Jonathan Jarry M.Sc. | 15 Nov 2024
When America sneezes, the world catches a cold. Donald Trumps renewed tenancy in the White House, with anti-vaxxer-in-chief Robert F. Kennedy Jr whispering in his ear, promises more than just sneezes. It heralds the return of vaccine-preventable illnesses, which do not stop at the border.
The anti-science movement is mere months away from being sworn into office in the United States. During Trumps interregnum, a flock of medical contrarians and wellness warriors has coalesced around the figure of RFK Jr, who has now been chosen by Trump as secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services in his upcoming administration. While neither crystal balls nor Tarot cards can predict the scope and extent of the damage we are about to witness to public health and trust in science, an examination of RFK Jrs budding coalition reveals a dire situation. Trumps Make America Great Again (MAGA) has repeatedly been called a cult by the media. It certainly is a cult of personality. RFK Jr and his campaign riffed on the slogan, creating Make America Healthy Again or MAHA.
...
But Kennedy is not alone, as two siblings have rapidly been promoted as the shepherds of Kennedys MAHA movement: sister Casey and brother Calley Means. Their book, Good Energy, got them a spot on Tucker Carlsons show, as well as a bevy of right-wing and alternative medicine podcasts like The Joe Rogan Experience, The Rubin Report, and The Doctors Farmacy with Mark Hyman M.D. Casey then leveraged this media attention into political gold by bringing the flock together to Washington, D.C. for a live-streamed, suits-and-ties bit of pseudoscience theatre hosted by Senator Ron Johnson and entitled American Health and Nutrition: A Second Opinion.
The event was a masquerade, with contrarians donning the garbs of science and pretending to be the critical thinkers in the room. Their shared grievance was the claim that Americans are being poisoned by their food supply, leading to an apocalyptic epidemic of chronic disease. Universities and regulatory agencies have fallen prey to institutional capture: corporate money has rendered their testimonies hopelessly corrupt. Only the people present at the event can be trusted to save America from itself. They want to drain the science swamp but given their alignment with convicted criminal Trump and their own misunderstanding of the scientific process, they are more likely to trap Americans in quicksand than to end corruption.

So, one has to wonder if Maher has simply lost it as he seems to favor these pseudoscience-pushing charlatans when the issue of medicine comes up. When he made the movie Religulous, it seemed that he was advocating critical thinking about religion. Perhaps, he needs to try again and produce a movie critiquing his own medicine-related beliefs and call it Mediculous.

(16 posts)Why are Casey Means and Bill Maher sane-washing RFK Jr. So gross!
I expected Mary Katherine Ham to keep defending RFK Jr. but I didn't expect Chris Cuomo to do it to.
O... some positives could come out of this, or RFK won't be so bad, or... he won't "REALLY" be that crazy.
Trump voter were JUST voting to disrupt the system. RFK Jr. could be SO good for America... he's going to "disrupt" the medical field. WTF!!!???
