Kamala Harris: "Hard work is good work"

"Vice President Harris: This will be a tight race until the very end. So let’s not pay too much attention to the polls. As labor knows best, we are running as the underdog, and we have some hard work ahead of us. But we like hard work. Hard work is good work"

Applegrove:

We should contrast the hard work of labour and the work of regular people in this election to the MAGA billionaires just dropping a few million on Trump and not giving up anything in this race but planning on taking from the work of the working and middle class if they win.

Fox news pretends that Kamala Harris will get eaten alive by

Putin and the like. Harris is a long term prosecutor. I worked as an admin assistant in a detention centre for a few months. I was used to Government and NGO work where most people were open and very kind (not all). At the detention center I noticed how the closer staff got with prisoners the stronger their boundaries were...... like steel. Sure you could chit chat or joke (they once trapped me between closed prison steel barred doors with a prisoner .... i thought it was fine). But the boundaries on these staff members were something to behold. No chance of someone evil getting in there and mucking around in their hearts or minds un-invited. It was impressive. I had just been harrassed at another job, and had the emotions of a creampuff, so I was interested in other ways of being and they showed a way.

I welcome a a candidate who can learn all the details of US policy and when crossed can figuratively do this:

?si=s4GX8LNWmE0RjL5H

than someone who can't remember anything and literally does this:

and,

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-hr-mcmaster-book-b2603314.html

I look forward to her interview tomorrow. We know she is warm and open. I hope we see her prosecuter roots.

Could it be that the MAGA oligarchs don't have enough places to invest in the USA so they want

to kneecap the finantial power and intellect of the middle class and poor so they don't have to compete with them for investment opportunities? That could be part of their warpedness. If nobody except the rich have money to invest than they can get stocks cheap and won't be crowded out of investment markets like they are now..

Plus any question of Walz being inaccurate will be

met with all 50 of Trump's blatant lies in the first debate.

August 22, 2024

I can't wait for Walz to say in the VP debate:

"What's your deal? You're a multimillionaire who want to take money from the poor and middle class and give it to the rich. Why?"

August 21, 2024

I speak that way because I spent so much time with the older generations of my family.

God to me is nature and ancestors. I'm not as Christian as they were. In this case I thank whomever made it happen.

It is not just Americans who will be destroyed by a new Trump Administration. The international order will be destroyed too because that is what Trump and his pal Putin want. To carve up the world and recreate colonies (that is how Russia has treated Donbas in the last 8 years since Russia invaded it....... all the riches stolen by Russian oligarchs with penury left for the locals). So it is pretty upsetting for the whole world what is going on in the USA. And pretty relieving that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are the ticket now. I keep thinking of the line "you know who followed the rules and were "nice"? The German people in the 1930s and 1940s. You know who weren't nice? The French Resistance".

I vacillated too for the whole month of July not wanting to damage Biden's electoral prospects.

Dyslexics discouver stuff with their wide scope and wacky thinking.

They make the unknown known. Everybody else exploits (in good or bad ways, sometimes both) the known world. The person who has the aha! moment is not the person who should be running the show after the discovery. IMHO

Here is a study that goes into it:

THE UNLEASHED POWER OF DYSLEXIA.

Based on facts and figures, it seems that dyslexia is widely scattered on the planed, no matter if you are men or women, black or white, born in the north or in the south…. more less the 20% of the population is dyslexic and such uniformity suggests that there is more behind it, that for sure is not related with food, contamination, temperature… scientist start having evidence that it is more related with the evolution and the survival of the humans as a specie, and it is something that has been shaped through thousands of years of evolution. How this could be explained?

To survive and to evolve anyone needs two abilities: first exploitation and second, exploration. Exploitation is the capacity of obtaining the goods that environment supplies, just to survive on the daily bases. But what happens when “the daily bases” changes or even disappears? Then you need to be prepared to front face unknown situations. To be prepared means that before the fatality arrive, someone has had to explore and to look for new and different options, here is when the ability of exploration is required. It is clear, that we need to craft two different abilities and at this point the magics of the evolution starts driving the fate. On one side, in the primitive and hostile environment humans just were mainly another source of food battling against other species to get their piece of meat and on the other side the wild environment was continuously changing. Pressure to survive biased human’s brain to increase the level of specialization, at the end of the day, the more focused the better you are, so we were split in two communities: the exploiters and the explorers, but to put all in value then collaboration was needed, otherwise it would have not worked.

Non dyslexic people (the exploiters) usually tend to be more structured so that is why they have better writing and speaking abilities, they make better choices… this make them managers, good speakers… on the other side, dyslexics (the explorers) are curios, easy lateral thinkers, have a natural tendency for the discovery and for breaking the rules, otherwise the evolution is impossible… so that is why many of the choose more creative topics like arts, engineering… at the end of the story each human has only one brain so the only way of potentiating the capacity is deep specialization, so or you are explorer or a exploiter, but neither both at once.

JD Vance Speaks To Virtually Empty Parking Lot In Michigan

JD Vance Speaks To Virtually Empty Parking Lot In Michigan

JD Vance was supposed to appeal to Midwestern voters for Trump, but few people showed up for a Vance campaign event in Michigan.

This was the crowd moments before Vance began speaking:

Vance told the crowd, “I love Byron Center. I have been here just a couple of hours, but Byron Center has been cast aside. A lot of places in this country have been cast aside by the ruling class. Politicians come to places like Michigan and say nice things but crush our industries, offshore our jobs, and undercut American wages with illegal labor. You, my friends, have been betrayed. And the people who have been doing the betraying have gotten rich off of this country’s decline. It is time to call them out and kick them out of office.”

.........

It is people like JD Vance who betrayed the people he was speaking to.
Vance helped to fund a farming startup that used illegal labor in Kentucky, so when JD Vance talks about illegal labor taking jobs, he has first-hand experience stealing those jobs from American workers.

Vance’s whole purpose for being on the ticket was to appeal to voters in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. However, Vance is wildly unpopular and has drawn pathetic crowds in these states.

Applegrove:

total projection on Vance's part. It is movement conservatives who stole union wages from people and made them financially anxious so they would vote with intuition instead of rationally in their best interests.

Applegrove: I love it, for women everywhere, that people are telling Vance to "smile".

Sen. J.D. Vance was questioned by a radio reporter in Detroit:

WWJ NEWSRADIO 950: You’ve been criticized for being a little too serious, a little bit angry sometimes. What makes you smile? What makes you happy?

VANCE: Well, I smile at a lot of things, including bogus questions from the media, man. I mean, look, I think if you watch a full speech that I give, I actually am having a good time out here, and I’m enjoying this. But, look, sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad, but right now, I am angry about what Kamala Harris to this country and has done to the American southern border…

And I think most people in this country, they can be happy-go-lucky sometimes, they can enjoy things sometimes, and they can turn on the news and recognize that what’s going on in this country is a disgrace.

...........SNIP"

Applegrove ~ Vance is concerned about kids and losing their parents to open borders and fentanyl ...... does he know his running mate separated families at the border?

Now he's talking about undocument immigrants and calls them 'people who shouldn't be here'. He also said they are probably 'good people'. Does he even know who his runningmate is? Has he ever followed Donald Trump?

Trump Weighs in on the Democratic Ticket

Donald Trump called into Fox & Friends this morning to comment on the new Harris-Walz Democratic ticket:

“This is a ticket that would want this country to go communist immediately if not sooner… he’s very heavy into transgender. Anything transgender he thinks is great… I think it’s very insulting to Jewish people.”

On Harris: “I heard she’s sort of a nasty person.”

............SNIP"

Applegrove ~ that's it? A hint the Walz is "heavy into transgender" reminds of the old story of the politician who won when he claimed that his opponent's sister was "a known thespian in New York". Communism just because the Harris team wants to help people succeed and preserve mixed market liberal order by policing monopolies and the like instead of creating an illiberal country like Orban has in Hungary and who Trump met with? And any woman is nasty to Donald if they don't hang on his every word. I've heard some pundits say that Shapiro was a "headliner" and that came through in his interview with Harris. Walz was not that ambitious in his interview. You can't have two headliners on a ticket. It does not work well.
