Tomorrow in my neighborhood (and hopefully in the country as a whole), we put out the trash....

And, if I knew how to post a picture, you know what I'd post.

Maybe others can take it from here and post your pictures that go with my headline....

Secured two more Harris/Walz votes in IA with phone call to my brother....

He and his wife are kind of reluctant voters, but I made him promise he'd get in to the polls. He's for Harris, but is turned off by all the negative ads and thinks the future looks bleak "regardless of who wins." I told him that's exactly what those negative ads want you to feel and that he should just mute his TV when they come on (like I do)....

But he and his wife will vote, and he will check to see if our other brother, who is in assisted living, has been able to vote yet (which I'm sure will be another vote for Harris).

Good news for PA: Supreme Court allows Pennsylvania to count contested provisional ballots, rejecting Republican plea

https://apnews.com/article/bucks-county-pennsylvania-early-mail-voting-deadline-05296504a3237956d96126570137a9f1

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (AP) — The Supreme Court on Friday rejected an emergency appeal from Republicans that could have led to thousands of provisional ballots not being counted in Pennsylvania as the presidential campaigns vie in the final days before the election in the nation’s biggest battleground state.

The justices left in place a state Supreme Court ruling that elections officials must count provisional ballots cast by voters whose mail-in ballots were rejected.

The ruling is a victory for voting-rights advocates, who had sought to force counties — primarily Republican-controlled counties — to let voters cast a provisional ballot on Election Day if their mail-in ballot was to be rejected for a garden-variety error.

My proposed reaction for when TSF tries to call the election before all votes are counted:

Laugh at the MF'er.

It's a pathetic grade school stunt to yell and scream about being the winner before the contest is over!!

A PATHETIC STUNT FROM A PATHETIC BULLY!!

I think Trump's Nazi Rally tonight is going to backfire on him BIG TIME....

Especially if they have it set up like the 1939 rally, with, of course, a BIG ASS mural of TSF instead of Washington.

Talk about a turnoff to independents....!

How many people at the Houston rally? It's HUGE!

Everything’s bigger in Texas!

I voted for Kamala today....

Small Iowa town. There was a one hour wait to get into the booth. There were a lot of white men in line, which doesn't say how they voted....Regardless, that's a pretty robust turnout on the fifth day of early voting.

On a drive to Des Moines a couple of days ago, there were large Trump signs in a few fields. In the city, there were a lot of Harris/Walz signs and no Trump signs. Dare I have hope that we can flip the state???? People vote, acres don't....

I've been wondering why Harris hasn't been rallying in Philadelphia, or did I just miss it?

I thought I have caught all the recent rallies posted on DU, like WI, MI, PA, NC, GA, but PA always seems to be in the western part of the state....

Anything coming up there?

October 25, 2024

Besides, of course, Harris and Obama, there were two very impressive

individuals on the rally stage in GA this evening - Rev. Warnock and Tyler Perry ( who, I must admit, I had to Google to find out who he is). Very, very powerful presentations by each of them.

Debate tonight for IA-01 between Miller-Meeks and Bohannan.

Iowa PBS will host a debate at 8 p.m. CT Monday at Iowa PBS studios in Johnston between Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Democrat Christina Bohannan.

The debate will air live on statewide Iowa PBS and be streamed iowapbs.org, YouTube and Facebook.
Get more information from the Des Moines Register

Bohannan is a great candidate. I saw her speak a few weeks ago - articulate and dynamic. She has been a professor at University of Iowa Law School for many years, although she looks much younger than her fifty-something years....
In this contest two years ago, Miller-Meeks won by only six votes!! We plan to flip the seat this election!!! DNC is putting a lot of ad money into this race as one to take back the House....
