Question about "Buy it now" on ebay

Last time I had something on ebay I had a "buy it now" price but when the first bidder bid.
the "buy it now" price disappeared. Getting ready to put a pre 1930's Jayhawk Oils wall clock
up for bids. I have looked and looked for another one on line and never found one. They only had
about 2 dozen truck stops/cafes in Kansas in the 1920's, so I'm guessing that's probably about
the number of clocks they had made.

Really nice examples of their 1 quart oil cans bring $2,500 to $3,500 so I'm thinking the last wall
clock known to exist ought to be worth around $10,000.

How do I get the "buy it now" price to stay up? Or do I put a reserve price on it same as my "BTN"?

Kan. U.S. Senator's staff responds after town hall video goes viral

LOGAN COUNTY—Many voters across the country are confused, some are angry and are showing up at town hall events to ask what President Donald Trump and Elon Musk are doing.

Kansas U.S. Senator Roger Marshall hosted a town hall to visit with voters on Saturday morning at the Logan County Hospital, 211 Cherry Avenue in Oakley.

The Senator answered questions on budget cuts, layoffs and funding freezes from a somewhat hostile crowd and according to a video taken by Colin McRoberts, Marshall left the event before it was finished.

Marshall, who posts more on social media than most members of the United States Senate, has been quiet on the app since Friday. He didn't use social media to promote the town hall in Oakley and asked a staffer to offer a response to those who suggested he left early.

"Democrat operatives sabotaged him"? Is that the best he could come up with? Chicken little didn't
like the questions so he walked out. I heard locally that he was there only about 5 minutes.

Question about cataract surgery

My eye surgeon requires a complete physical exam with a passing grade before he'll do the
cataract surgery. Is this standard procedure country wide? Heck he doesn't even put me under
for it.

To me it sounds like another expense on my part so he can cover his behind for some reason.
And if he's doing it to cover his ass, shouldn't he have to pay for it?

Are there eye surgeons that don't require a physical?
