Lifelong Democrat. I cast my first vote for Jimmy Carter for president, and drove 180 miles to do it because my absentee ballot did not arrive in time at my college address. I devoted 30 years of my life to public service as a federal employee, in an agency devoted to public health. One of my undergraduate degrees was in political science, and my masters is in public administration. The abiding policy issue in my life is reproductive freedom, and I mourn the current state of affairs regarding that, as I marched on Washington three times to preserve that freedom. I may not always say things here that people want to hear, but I am a realist and I believe my credentials speak for themselves. Accuse me of being a Republican troll? You can kiss my a$$.
