I remember being shocked how quickly tRump gained control over U.S. and international media in 2015, as they fought to gain access to his rallies around the nation. The only public media outlet I'm aware of that called out his lies at the rallies was based in the UK and that demonstrates just how pathetically useless our U.S. media has become as our Fourth Estate.

And, I was just as shocked to see how quickly he added supporters and at how fast they became brainwashed on his bullshit and lies that can be called just a re-branding of Republican Kool-Aid.

We are in a pathetic moral and mental state as a nation, seeking more to be entertained and have a god-figure to worship rather than looking for ways to get our hands dirty with the job of maintaining a democracy.
