I make them every year with lots of butter, a little orange juice for liquid, and some real maple syrup. Boy they are yummy! When the kids were younger, I'd get them to eat them, saying that I was giving them CRAYONS to eat- that at least got them to try them, and they loved 'em!

I voted for mashed potatoes, but a close runner up was turkey and the vegetables (green veggies)

The only veggie I like is a potato. You are spot on about cooking mashed potatoes.
