(1,198 posts)44. It's one thing if you build a ramshackle cabin hanging off the side of a mountain.
It's quite another when a hurricane comes through and takes down half that mountain.
Our Republican state legislature is a mess, and hopefully their actions will get a lot of them gone after November. But we have to deal with right now, not next time. Roy Cooper is the best. If we could have him another eight years, I'd happily vote for him.

Bootstraps are for the "other" people. My guess is half the MAGAs are on SS, welfare, Medicaid. But only for them, see.
