Her last few years of exile have given her time to reflect on her values and assess her stance and understanding of what's going on. See some movement in that direction as I have seen her even admit that the party might have to die and a different one begun to remedy this nightmare. They have gone too fr to reel back in, better to cut the line and attach a new hook and line.

With that transition, I think Liz will have made some changes in her views on some things. probably not a lot but enough to make her more reasonable. Her sister helped her change her stance on gays to some degree.

There is hope for her, she is using her voice for the right thing at the moment.
