Today I voted for a woman for president. I'm 69 years old (will be 70 this spring). I went home and cried. I'm so thankful to have lived long enough to see a woman in the White House. And not just any woman, but one who is absolutely qualified to be there. I voted for my granddaughter so she will have a choice and control over her own body. I voted for my trans grandchild, so they will not be erased. I voted for clean air, clean water, clean soil. I voted for health care, childcare, and elder care centers. When we vote, we vote not just for a person, but for what we believe.
