In reply to the discussion: A Missouri Family Called 911 for a Domestic Dispute. [View all]live in the area and it happened in Independence. This is the first time I have heard the baby was shot in the head. The police department of a nearby city, Blue Springs, has been helping the Independence p.d. with the investigation. They both have been tight lipped about this investigation to the point they have not given much information to the extended family- parents and grandparents. Its very upsetting.

Did all the cops go home safe after their shift? That's all that matters!

They shot a baby with an assault rifle, exploding her head onto her horrified father.

That horror will be in their memory for the rest of their life. Feel so sorry for the family, especially the dad.
