So of course a Fox TV doctor was picked for Surgeon General [View all]

and her name is Dr. Janette Nesheiwat. I went to her web site and I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to be met by a big ad for her "immunity boost" supplement that insists is her own formulation. But she also wrote an article titled "Political Health" in which she talks about stress etc. surrounding the lead up to the election. Dr. Janette has 5 important points she wants you to know about what will make it all better.

Dr. Nesheiwat's Coping Tips on Election Stress:

1. Limit News Consumption

2. Stay Connected with Supportive People and engage in your favorite activities- read, run, bake your favorite foods, or try a new sport like pickleball or hiking. Isolation can make stress feel worse so reach out to someone you trust.

3. Focus on Self care: pray, meditate, breathe

4. Limit Election Conversations & Set boundaries

5. Most Importantly, get physical! Exercise and activity releases endorphins, your happy hormones which help reduce stress.

So basically the doctor says the number one thing is to make yourself ill informed about what's going on. That ties into and seems to be reemphasized in the 4th recommended item which tells you to shut your mouth, stop asking questions and don't let others try to tell you what's going on.

Well there you have it. Just what the MAGA.......er.....I mean Doctor ordered. I'm sure we'll all be better now.
