Longtime dirty tricksters like Stone and Manafort were joined by The Heritage Foundation, Bannon, Fox News, Limbaugh and other right-wing radio jocks and social media to build a solid foundation. They knew TSF would be one of the only potential candidates crooked enough to happily overthrow 250 years of tradition.

Decent people couldn't imagine such evil could prevail among voters, but it did. Voters had been thoroughly brainwashed through eight years of Tea Party propaganda, TSF's first term, an insurrection, and its lies about the 2020 election. Biden's win was sullied by constant cries of illegitimate.

We need to rest, take deep breaths, and get involved at local levels. Take heart that more than 50 percent of the voters did not vote for corruption in 2024. It might help if we stop beating ourselves up about it and focus on plans to resist.
