unlike wealth.
I derive meaning in life from trying to make things better, so I choose both to refrain from following corrupt leaders' example and also to work to try to reform the systems that allowed them to ascend... but in our current, unfettered-capitalist system, it's tough, since it rewards the ability to accumulate money and power rather than other virtues.
