I've done the writing and calling legislators for years and it's only gotten worse. The gun lobby has managed to shut down all opposition.

Even on DU we have gun lobby useful idiots - or actual troll shills - trotting out the idiotic argument of "it's not a magazine its a clip, and if you don't know that you can't have an opinion about better gun laws." They swarm and tell us cars kill more people than guns and effectively shut down all conversation. Even here, we can't even talk about it.

So what is the good fight these days?
