the playing of the Navy Hymn just did me in... [View all]

I try to remind myself that President Carter was 100 years old and that he would have been glad to see Rosalyn again in heaven. But the tears still come for a generous, kind man and he left us at a point when we face the swearing in of a grotesque, vile human being as POTUS. The contrast could not be greater.
