the Navy has provided more presidents than other services:

FDR did not serve (polio) but was Secretary of the Navy

Truman was Army artilleryman (WWI)

Eisenhower was of course Army (Supreme Allied Commander)

JFK Navy

Johnson Navy

Nixon Navy

Ford ???

Carter Navy

Reagan fought the terrible battle of Topanga Canyon

poppy Bush Navy

Clinton none

shrub bush Air Force Reserve

Obama No war

The Sick Fuck fought and evaded social diseases with bone spurs

I will go now and look up Ford's service (at some point)
