He likes rich people. They can feed his lust for wealth.

Because "That's where the money is!"

I had been thinking that Trump wouldn't care that much about $$$ this term because he controls the US government indefinitely (he will never leave the White House) - he will just take and do whatever he wants, and golf, mostly.

But on politicology podcast a week or so ago I heard the host mention as an aside the idea that Trump wants to generate as much money as possible, and has chosen cryptocurrency grifting as the path. His plan would be to get to a wealth of hundreds of billions of dollars or more in order to be the richest man in the world, to stroke his ego, and as a family legacy.
