Says the poster who started an OP on a high, high fingerwagging horse seeking to police how other people post on DU!

That's why you feel like you're being "talked down to". You posed a provocative question which has been asked here many, many times before and whose ensuing discussion never changes anyone's mind, then when people replied to your question with less than slavish agreement, you didn't like it.

What a waste of time and effort.

I replied to you in joined-up sentences, and I apologize if you found that patronizing. The fact remains, you've made a poor case for your argument.

And BTW, Jack Valentino didn't disagree with CaptainTruth's take on Twitter's economics, just suggested a refinement on the tactics proposed. I don't have time and patience to follow the good captain's suggestions, but they're certainly food for thought for those who're not allergic to thinking.
