6. My father was a tail gunner in WWII

He shot down a lot of Nazi planes. He later went on to get several degrees and I suspect he was a spy for awhile. Can't prove it, but he spoke Russian too.

He always said the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi. Even in his old age anytime someone would bring up Nazis, my father would say, "the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi." He forgave the Japanese for bombing Pearl Harbor. But he really hated Nazis and felt they were the next most horrible thing to the devil.

And now they are swarming our federal government like cockroaches. He was right. Never trust a Nazi.....ever.
