Talk about obeying in advance. Here's a doozy. [View all]

I work for an event held annually in a new location, so they create a new logo each year to match the location. I have to add it to the materials produced for the event. This year I received the logo over a month ago and applied it as directed.

Then today I received an updated logo and was asked to swap it out. I immediately noticed that the "update" was to remove the word "diversity" from the logo. Folks, the *entire event* is intended to promote diversity in a particular industry. But they felt the need to obey in advance and remove their raison d'être from the artwork.

Although, come to think of it, maybe they aren't obeying in advance, perhaps they were already threatened. I'm starting to wonder if the entire event will get canceled. Good grief. I can't with this bullshit.
