(26,678 posts)17. I would say not only that, but it's possible and common to disapprove of
a particular act (a heckling, a shoe throwing, a traffic disruption, any form of protest or expression) and to think the act was silly, ineffective, disruptive or whatever - but still be in full or partial agreement with the position or opinion being expressed by the actor.
(Love the picture! I wonder if they were going really fast, or if they just managed to hit at high tide. The former amuses* me more, so that's what I'm going to believe...
* With the caveat that I really hope no one was hurt. That wouldn't be funny** at all...
** And, it wouldn't be funny if there was any resulting environmental damage...)
