I don’t understand how we’re in this situation, but here we are. His government contracts should have been pulled years ago due to drug abuse and generally erratic behavior. If it weren’t for his billions, he wouldn’t even be able to get a security clearance (I assume he has one, but could be wrong).

I don’t think he should be in control of Starlink either, for that matter. However, even if the country had the will to take action against him (eminent domain? state security concerns?), how could we run it? Does he have a kill switch? Would all the technicians (or key managers) walk off?
