Funds are cutting aid for women seeking abortions as costs rise

I hope there are private funds that can help more. Back in the day, there were a bunch of my school-mates who got together and helped our friends get abortions. We lived in the Bible belt and most parents weren;t helpful back then. They'd send you to an unwed girls home, where you would be controlled 100% by the people that ran the place and were often known for abusing the young women. So we'd chip in what we could to send the friend to NY where abortions were legal. We'd researched and found a Planned Parenthood place in NYC that would work with us and we went to that well 8 times until Roe passed. I hope things like that are still happening.
